where does the time go?

so tell me. how is it already march?

in other news;

even in this crazy cold, life remains rather normal. the moms and stay-at-home dads of the neighborhood head out with their babies for walks in the park. true, the babies are bundled in sleeping bag strollers, but still, at least they are out. i don't know whether or not to feel sorry for the dogs who prance about with little booties on. they keep their feet warm, but is the human attire not somewhat degrading to their animal instincts?

i'm convinced the lady next door has some sort of ocd. she is an obsessive snow shoveler, likes to wear little red riding hood coats, and her mood can never be predicted. "you shoveled snow on to MY sidewalk!" she says to car owners trying to dig their tires out of the white stuff. where the heck else is it supposed to go?

i still make it down to the bagel shop at least once a week. i don't think anything short of a mighty blizzard could prevent me from indulging in the perfectly balanced everything bagel, the kind you only find in this city. in a way, it has ruined my appreciation for any other bagels any other place, but i am willing to live with that. it is a sacrifice i am willing to make.

the little dvd rental shop down the street has yet to order another copy of annie hall and i am waiting. anxiously.

and my time to write has funneled to almost zero. i need to change that.
